Depending on where the watch was purchased, your manual may also contain information about things like warranty protection and water resistance ratings. Pay close attention to matters regarding both of those issues. First, you don't want to do anything that might jeopardize the warranty. Second, you don't want to expose your watch to too much water if it's not completely waterproof.

Keep the Original Box

When it comes to protecting your new watch, you want to make sure you keep the original box. The box was designed to provide just the right amount of protection for your watch. One of the benefits of keeping the original box is that you can use it for storage, especially if you'll be traveling with your watch. The original box may also be necessary for any repair needs that might become necessary. Clean Your Watch Daily
